J.E.B. Stuart PTSA Purpose
To help Stuart High School administration, faculty, staff, and parents in the development and success of all students.
Our mission includes cooperation with the school's teachers, administrators and staff; ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn in a safe, supportive environment; and coordinating activities with other groups that contribute to the community.
The Stuart PTSA is an organization that represents every part of our community - the parents, the teachers and staff, and the students. As a group, we work hard on many fronts to make sure all students in our diverse student body have the opportunity to be successful.
Our goal is to create a closer relationship between home and school and to support an environment in which Stuart parents, students and teachers may cooperate efficiently in the education process. The Stuart PTSA teams with the Stuart administration, teachers, business leaders and community groups in an effort to bring resources to our school.
The Stuart PTSA raises funds to support school and student related projects and invites all members of our community to take an active part in what we do.
The PTSA holds monthly meetings that inform parents and students of administrative goals, offer a forum for teachers to present projects and ideas, provide an opportunity for students to be involved in the schools administrative process, and resolve problems.
PTSA meetings are open to everyone and provide a great opportunity to learn more about our school, receive updates on PTSA activities, and learn about this month at Stuart directly from the Principal.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Library Conference Room.
